Day 1c represents the final shot for players to jump in and chase the RunGood Poker Series Grand Prix Maryland ring and a share of the $300,000 guaranteed prize pool when action begins at 11:15 a.m. local time.

This is the last of three starting flights at the inaugural RGPS stop at the MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill. A total of 121 players entered over the first two flights, with 16 players already securing their tickets into Day 2.

Justin Arnwine remains the man to catch after bagging up 801,000 on the opening flight. He’s followed by Day 1b chip leader Hamid Izadi (722,000), Nicholas Rigby (561,500), Charles Furey (460,000), and Kash Corpening (329,000).

Blinds projected to be 3,000/6,000 on Day 2

Players on Day 1c begin with a 40,000 starting stack, including 10,000 additional chips for a $60 staff add-on. The schedule calls for 40-minute levels, with a break after every three levels and a 45-minute dinner break at the end of Level 9.

Late registration remains open through the end of Level 12, with unlimited reentries available. One of the 16 who survived the first two flights can also enter today in an attempt to bag up more chips; if they also qualify out of today’s flight, their smallest stack will be taken out of play and they’ll receive a min-cash.

The day will conclude once 12.5 percent of the field is remaining. All qualifiers will then combine on Day 2 at 12:15 p.m. tomorrow already in the money and prepared to play down to a champion.

Stay tuned throughout the day as PokerNews follows all the action and provides live updates.
