Gendelman immediately found himself involved in a classic flip and hit a set on the Q♣10♠J♠ flop, but Cohen flopped a straight to take the lead. The turn was the 6♦, and the 6♠ river gave Gendelman a full house and the quick double up.
"First hand of the tournament!" Gendelman yelled out in celebration.
