Brian Senie Eliminated in 3rd Place ($22,343)
Level 26
: Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Brian Senie raised to 300,000 from the small blind and Jeremy Gaubert defended from the big blind.
The flop came A♠9♦7♥. Senie bet 225,000 and Gaubert called.
Senie bet 725,000 on the K♦ turn and Gaubert called again. Senie then shoved for 2,165,000 on the Q♠ river.
Gaubert went into the tank for a couple of minutes before calling. Senie could only show K♣J♠ for second pair, turned into a bluff with a blocker to the nut-straight. Gaubert tabled A♦4♠ for top pair to take down the biggest pot of the tournament so far and enter heads-up play with roughly a 6:1 chip advantage over Zackary Poll.
