The dealer completed the board with the 7♣ river, and Motter led out for 2,200. Gruneberg did not take long to make the call. Motter showed K♣10♣ for two pair, tens and deuces.
Gruneberg then tabled A♦5♦ for a superior two pair with aces and deuces, smiling at Motter on his right as he dragged in the chips.
