Gruneberg Gets the Fold

With 12,000 already in the middle, Michael Jouaneh checked the 9♦10♦Q♥ flop in the small blind. Zachary Gruneberg fired a bet of 4,000 in middle position, and Jonathan Ares folded in the cutoff.

Jouaneh made the call, and the dealer flipped over the K♣ turn. Both players checked to see the 10♥ river, where Jouaneh checked once last time. Gruneberg slid out a bet of 6,000, earning the pot as Jouaneh let it go.

Mueller counted out calling chips from his stack, opting to slide them into the middle.

Ares led out on the 7♠ river, producing a quick fold from Heinsey. Liptak took some time before tossing in calling chips, and Ares turned over A♥J♠ for a pair of jacks.

That was enough to claim the pot, as Liptak slid his cards into the muck.
