Toscano Makes Correct Call

The hand began with a raise to 1,000 from early position before Armando Toscano called on the button and the big blind came along to create a three-handed pot.

It checked to Toscano on the 6♦7♣J♣ flop. Toscano fired 1,200 and was called by the original raiser after the big blind folded.

Both remaining players checked the 7♠ turn to bring the 6♥ river.

The original raiser bet 2,300 on the river. Toscano gave it some thought before he put in the call.

Toscano showed J♥9♥, which was good enough as his opponent tossed his cards in the muck to yield the pot.
