Christy Cranford opened to 30,000 from early positon and found one caller in the next seat over in Wesley Jones.
Jones checked the 7♣A♠7♠ flop, which Cranford followed with a bet of 27,000. Jones called and sent them to a turn.
Both players checked the 5♥ turn, which brought the A♣ river. Cranford sized up to 75,000 on this river and put Jones in the tank. Jones gave it some thought before he put together a call and pushed it toward the middle.
Cranford tabled A♦Q♦ for trip aces as Jones mucked his hand to yield the pot to Cranford.

Brad Stevens opted to go all-in for 108,000 from the cutoff position and found resistance from Papa Karn in the big blind who called to put Stevens at risk for his tournament life.

Stevens was slightly behind as they went to a runout, but the flop gave Stevens a pair when it fanned out 10♥9♥7♥.
Karn had plenty of outs with the flush draw and overcards, thus when the 4♥ peeled on the turn, Karn shut the door on the hand as he sunk Stevens with a flush.
The 4♣ river completed the board as Stevens got up from his seat.

Nicholas Burris called the big blind amount, and Seth Evans checked his big blind as they played for a side pot with Hettick at risk.
