Rix Cracks Aces for First Elimination
Level 2
: Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
Once again, Phillip Rix and Carson Ray were battling heads-up in a pot with around 2,000 in the middle. The board read K♠7♠7♥4♣ and Rix checked from middle position. Ray threw in a bet of 1,400 in the cutoff and Rix check-raised to 6,000 which Ray called.
The river was the Q♦ and Rix slid his entire stack in one big tower. Ray sighed as he gave it some brief thought but called off his last 15,200. Rix turned over 7♦6♣ for trip sevens while Ray was forced to show his A♠A♦ before they hit the muck.
