Maeroff checked to Cordell who continued with a bet of 60,000 and Maeroff called. The turn brought the 10♥ and Maeroff led out with a bet of 150,000. Cordell called and the 6♥ completed the board.
Maeroff announced all in and Cordell instantly threw his K♥K♦ face up into the muck as he stormed out of the tournament area for a cigarette. Maeroff collected the pot and became the first player to surpass seven figures.
