Stanford Plays It Sneaky
Level 24
: Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Josh Butler raised to 150,000 from under the gun and was called by Cody Stanford and Eric Salazar in the blinds. The flop came K♠J♠9♥ and Butler continued with a bet of 120,000. Stanford and Salazar both called to see the Q♣ on the turn.
The action checked around and the A♦ hit the river. Stanford led out with a bet of 485,000 which got Salazar to fold. Butler gave it his full attention but decided to fold as well.
"You call preflop?" Stanford asked Butler, who got a nod. "I played my hand poorly then. I got sneaky," Stanford flashed his 10♣10♦ to the table.
