Day 2 of RGPS Grand Prix Tunica $600 Main Event Gets Underway at Noon

Day 2 of the $600 Main Event at the RGPS Grand Prix Tunica is set to resume at 12:00 p.m. local time here at Horseshoe Tunica. The three Day 1 starting flights saw a total of 627 entries, 76 of which will be returning for the final day of action. The remaining players will be battling it out for a piece of the $326,040 prize pool with the first-place prize of $59,930 going to the winner, along with the RGPS ring.

Day 1a attracted 174 runners, with 21 advancing to Day 2. Cody Stanford, the defending champion in this event, bagged the overwhelming chip lead with 777,000 and will enter the final day as the overall chip leader.

Day 1b was the biggest flight of them all, with 241 challengers showing up, but only 30 making it through. Teresa Lammie finished the flight as the player on top with 696,000 - good for second in the overall counts.

Day 1c saw plenty of action, with a total of 212 entries tallied. Of the 26 who survived, it was Keith McKuin who finished the flight as the chip leader with 450,000.
