Anderman Building a Stack Early
Level 6
: Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Yanki Koppel opened to 2,000 in middle position and was called by the hijack and Sigmund Anderman in the big blind.
On the 9♣7♠3♥ flop, Koppel continued for 2,000 and only Anderman called.
The turn brought the 8♥. Koppel fired for 2,000 again before Anderman check-raised to 6,000 and Koppel laid it down after some deliberation, conceding a modest pot to Anderman without showdown.
