The final starting flight of the 2025 RGPS Mission RunGood Bay Area $800 Main Event kicks off at 11 a.m. today.

Yesterday saw a total of 264 hopefuls make their way to Graton Resort and Casino with the goal of securing a Day 2 bag. However, just 33 players were able to advance as the rest look for redemption today as they look for their piece of the $358,400 and growing prize pool.

This brings the total number of entries to 512, with 65 booking their spot in Monday's restart.

Leading the way from yesterday’s flights was Xiong Thao who bagged an impressive 595,000. Behind him in second is Sigmund Anderman with 496,000. Rounding out the podium in third is Ian Steinman who finished with 470,000.

Players will begin the tournament with 30,000 in tournament chips, with blinds beginning at 100/200 with a 200 big blind ante. Each level will last 30 minutes, with a 15-minute break between every four levels. Registration will remain open until the beginning of the ninth level, and play will continue until 12.5% percent of the field remains, after which the players will bag up and return on Monday, May 12, each guaranteed at least a minimum cash.

After three days of opening flights, the 2025 RGPS Mission RunGood Bay Area $800 Main Event has found the 82 players that will be fighting for their piece of the $450,100 prize pool.

131 hopefuls made their way to Graton Resort and Casino on this fine Mother’s Day for one final chance to find a bag. However, after 14 levels of play, just 17 have earned their spot in Monday’s restart.

Leading the way from Day 1e is Michael Hubbard who accumulated 505,000 chips throughout the day. In second place is the man who burst the bubble, Douglas Dossett, with 457,000. Rounding out the podium in third is Lucy Lamperouge who kept her stack on a yo-yo all day but finished with 399,000.

Levels last 40 minutes in length on Day 2 through to the conclusion of the tournament. The action will continue until a winner is crowned Monday night.
