Mader Gets Tricky with Straight

Phil Mader opened to 2,000 from middle position and Seth Frederici defended his big blind.
Frederici check-called a 2,000 continuation on the 10♣9♦7♣ flop.
The 8♠ turn checked through to the 10♦ river which saw Frederici check for a third time. Mader cut out a bet of 7,000 and Frederici took little time before tossing in the call. Mader tabled J♥10♥ for a the turned straight which was good to drag the pot as he becomes one of the largest stacks in the room.
