McCoy Doubles Through Mader
Level 14
: 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Level 10: Blinds 1,000/2,000
Ben McCoy opened to 4,000 from under the gun and Phil Mader called in the small blind.
On the J♠8♣2♠ flop, McCoy continued for 8,000 before Mader jammed for 36,500 effective as the covering stack. McCoy thought it over for a moment before he stuck in the call.
Ben McCoy: Q♣J♦
Phil Mader: 10♥10♦
McCoy was in good shape to double and it stayed that way as he faded the two-outer on the 4♥J♣ runout and he collected the pot.
