Kyle Coolers Nelle in Pot of the Tournament
Level 17
: Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Jordan Nelle opened the cutoff and was called by Eric Kyle in the small blind.
On the 9♠7♣5♠ flop, Nelle continued for 17,000 before Kyle check-raised to 50,000 and Nelle called.
Kyle fired again for 77,000 on the 7♦ turn. Nelle raised to 200,000, and Kyle immediately jammed for 650,000 effective as the covering stack, and Nelle quickly called.
Jordan Nelle: K♠7♠
Eric Kyle: 5♥5♣
It was a brutal cooler as Kyle made a boat on the turn against the trips and flush draw of Nelle. The 8♠ river changed nothing and Nelle collected the largest pot of the tournament this far.
