The K♠5♦5♣ flop and 4♥ turn gave some options for a chop or wheel, but instead he spiked the 2♠ on the river. MORISUN then raised to 11,000 and earned two callers. They checked down the 9♥8♥7♣2♦7♠ board and his 4♥4♦ was good enough to win the next pot.
After the most recent table broke up on the stage with now fewer than 56 players still in the mix, JBJ arrived with far fewer chips back in the field. He made up for some of his previous losses when 8♥8♣ had a mighty sweat against A♥7♦ in a preflop all-in, as the K♥4♥3♥ flop showed three hearts.
However, none followed on the 2♠ turn and Q♠ river to send the chips over to JBJ.

It was a classic preflop flip for Armin Gooya that put the tournament life on the line for the local resident hailing originally from California. He was in there with the A♠K♠ and Hoyeon looked him up with the J♣J♠.
The board remained low on 7♦6♥5♣2♠9♥ and that spelled the end for Gooya.

Right before the blinds went up, one of the largest preflop clashes of the tournament to date had Ryuichiro on the verge of potentially taking over the chip lead for this flight when kumajiro was at risk for more than 230,000.
