Ddong-ee Runs Up a Stack

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Ddong-ee raised from under the gun and then called a check-raise on the AK7 flop by the big blind to 25,000 as they headed to the 2 turn. The big blind now check-called for 8,000 and they checked the 3 on the river.

Ddong-ee flashed his 1010 for a flush and the big blind grimaced an "why do you call my raise" as they exposed the A7 for two pair. He also won the next healthy pot thereafter when his 76 in the big blind turned two pair.

Kei Scores a Huge Knockout

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

There is yet another chip leader in town for flight 1c as Kei just earned a massive pot. Until the 7529 turn, they already had more than 160,000 in the middle and the hijack bet 30,000. Kei jammed for more than 230,000 with the covering stack and received a reluctant call by AJ for ace-jack high only.

Kei's 1010 were out in front and the river was a blank to award the biggest pot of the day so far.

John had been working on half a million on the single table up on the feature stage but another contender has just achieved that feat out in the field. Yusuke raised and then looked up a shorter stack with K3 versus A10. The KJ746 board paired the king to crown a new chip leader.

Morisho and aki1022 Take It All

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

The player in the big blind check-called a bet of 25,000 by Morisho on the 7439 turn and they checked the 8 on the river. Morisho had 44 for a set and his opponent missed the flush draw with Q2.

One hand later, they three-bet jammed the rest with KQ and aki1022 called on the button with the A5. The A10934 board kept the ace out in front and reduced the field by one.

Last Break of the Night

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Only around 80 players remain after the last frantic session at the tables and they will aim to survive another three levels, after which Day 1c will officially conclude. For the time being, there is a short break of 10 minutes before the final push towards the finish line in the penultimate flight.

In the turbo heat 1d, level five has been reached with around 170 entries of which 150 players remain. The total field size has already eclipsed more than 1,400 entries.
