The second of four Day 1 flights is set to begin at Downstream Casino in Joplin, Missouri, for the RunGood Poker Series $800 Main Event today, Friday April 11 at 6:00 p.m. local time. Day 1a of the $200,000 guaranteed prize pool event drew 57 entrants, with seven players making the money and advancing to Day 2. Leading the pack at the end of the night was Todd Tucker, who bagged an impressive 723,000 chips.

Flight 1b of the RGPS Main Event at Downstream Casino is scheduled for Friday, April 11, at 6:00 p.m. local time. Subsequent flights, 1c and 1d, will occur on Saturday, April 12, at 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. local time, respectively.
Players will start the event with 30,000 chips, playing 30-minute levels during Day 1 flights before levels increase to 40 minutes on Day 2. Blinds will begin at 100/200 with a 200 big blind ante. There will be a 15-minute break after every two hours of play.
The Main Event features unlimited reentries, with late registration open until the start of Level 9. Play will continue until only 12.5% of the field remains, at which point players will reach the money, bag their chips, and return for Day 2.
Participants may enter multiple Day 1 flights, but if a player qualifies for Day 2 more than once, only their largest stack will carry forward. Any lower chip stacks will be removed at the start of Day 2 and receive the minimum Day 2 payout. Blinds on Day 2 will begin at the lowest level reached during the Day 1 flights.

The RGPS is sponsoring a multi-day event at the Japan Open Poker Tour Grand Final festival in Tokyo. The winner of the RGPS Colossus will win an RGPS ring, while the whole field will have a shot at taking home some RunGood merch.
The JOPT Grand Final festival is on from April 25 to May 6 at Belle Salle Takadanobaba in the Shinjuku ward of Tokyo. The Colossus will take up three days of that, running from April 27 to April 29.
Craig Welko opened the action with a raise to 500 from the cutoff, which was called by Jeff Copeland on the button and the player in the big blind.
After the flop came Q♥10♠9♣ the big blind checked to Welko who bet out 1,000. Copeland made the call, and the big blind folded.
The turn brought the J♣ and Welko bet out 1,800, and Copeland quickly mucked giving Welko the pot. As Welko scooped the pot he showed 3♦2♦ and said "Thats the clean diaper".

Action was picked up on the turn, with the board showing 7♥J♦9♥9♦ and roughly 6,300 in the pot.
After the turn, Ryan Lynch in the big blind bet out 1,500, before the player on the button raised to 3,000. Lynch then three-bet to 7,500, and the player on the button quickly made the call.
The river brought the 2♠ and Lynch moved all in for his stack of 19,500, which got a quick fold from his opponent, giving the pot to Lynch.

Action was picked up on the turn with four players in the pot, and the board showing 3♠3♣6♥3♦.
Daniel Lowery in the small blind bet out 1,800, which got the big blind and player in early position to fold, but Jim Indiveri on the button made the call.
The river brought the 8♣ and Lowery fired out 3,600, which was quickly called by Indiveri. Lowery showed J♣9♣ for just jack high, but Indiveri had the winner when he tabled A♣10♦ for ace high.

After the flop Ben Burnett bet out 6,000, before Eldon Penn raised him all in for his stack of 9,800. Burnett gave it a quick thought before making the call to put himself at risk.

Penn had the best of it after flopping top pair, but the 5♥ on the turn gave Burnett extra outs with a wheel draw. But the river brought the A♣ to give Burnett the best hand with two pair, aces and fours to secure the double up.
