The RunGood Poker Series $800 Main Event at Downstream Casino in Joplin, Missouri, continues with its final two Day 1 flights scheduled for Saturday, April 12. Flight 1c will commence at 10:00 a.m. local time, followed by Flight 1d at 3:00 p.m.
Day 1a of the $200,000 guaranteed prize pool event drew 57 entrants, with seven players making the money and advancing to Day 2. Todd Tucker led the field, bagging an impressive 723,000 chips.
Day 1b attracted 103 entrants, with 12 players advancing to Day 2. The chip leader at the end of the night was Daniel Lowery, who bagged 785,000.
Players will start the event with 30,000 chips, playing 30-minute levels during Day 1 flights before levels increase to 40 minutes on Day 2. Blinds will begin at 100/200 with a 200 big blind ante. There will be a 15-minute break after every two hours of play.
The Main Event features unlimited reentries, with late registration open until the start of Level 9. Play will continue until only 12.5% of the field remains, at which point players will reach the money, bag their chips, and return for Day 2.
Participants may enter multiple Day 1 flights, but if a player qualifies for Day 2 more than once, only their largest stack will carry forward. Any lower chip stacks will be removed at the start of Day 2 and receive the minimum Day 2 payout. Blinds on Day 2 will begin at the lowest level reached during the Day 1 flights.

Day 1c is officially underway in the $800 Main Event in Joplin.
Last week on the RunGood Poker Series, the $800 Main Event at Hollywood Casino St. Louis concluded with a three-way deal. Emerging as the big winner was chip leader Justin Done, who secured $62,000, a PokerGO PGT Dream Seat, and the prestigious RGPS Main Event ring.
Hunter Cichy second in chips at the time of the deal, took home $59,661, while Tyler Breeding rounded out the top three with a payout of $55,603.

A player under the gun and in the hijack limped in, before it folded to Eric Bunch on the button who raised to 1,500. He was called by the small blind and both the under the gun and the player hijack players.
The flop came 7♠9♦6♦ and it was checked to Bunch who fired out 2,500. The small blind called, while both the under the gun player and the player in the hijack folded.
After the 2♦ on the river, it was checked to Bunch who again bet, this time for 4,000. The player in the small blind then quickly folded to give the pot to Bunch.
