The turn brought the 7♦. Smith fired again for 11,500 and White would weigh his options for over a minute before he flatted.
On the Q♠ river, White decided to lead out for 30,000 and Smith grimaced as he elected to let it go against a heavily under-bluffed line. However, White windmilled the 9♣8♣ for fourth pair and an open-ender which turned into a bluff on the river. The gloves are coming off down in Kansas City.
