Harry Cheatham opened the action from the cutoff with a raise to 800, before Tyler Breding on the button three-bet to 2,500. It folded back to Cheatham who made the call.

The flop came 7♦4♥8♥ and Cheatham check-called a bet of 2,000 from Breding.

Both players checked after the J♦ on the turn, which brought the 8♠ on the river. Cheatham then bet out 5,000 and Breding quickly made the call. Cheatham turned over A♣5♣ for just ace high, and Breding tabled the winner with 9♠9♥ to take the pot with his two pair, nines and eights.
