Level Holds to Stay In It

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Action was picked up with David Level all in for 50,000, and Harry Cheatham putting him at risk.

David Level: 77 All in

It was a flip for Level's tournament life, and when the board ran out 5A9103 and the pocket sevens of Level were still best to give him the double up.

Straight Flush Over Ace High Flush Gives Roberts the Chip Lead

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
John Roberts
John Roberts

Action was picked up on the river, with roughly 175,000 in the pot, and the board showing 104928.

Yang Xu in early position bet out 75,000, and John Roberts on the button raised all in for his stack of 223,000. Xu then confirmed the count and debated his decision. After about a minute, Xu said "If you got it, you got it" and made the call. Which Roberts replied "Oh, I have a straight flush" and tabled QJ. Xu was visibly distraught and tossed A3 for an ace high flush in the muck, as Roberts scooped a massive pot.

A few hands later Xu was seen leaving the tournament area after being eliminated.

Roberts Holds to Send Out Cox

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Christopher Cox
Christopher Cox

Action folded to Christopher Cox in early position, and he raised all in for his stack of 42,000. It then folded to John Roberts in the cutoff, and he made the call. The button and the blinds folded, to leave the players heads up, with Cox at risk.

Christopher Cox: 77 All in
John Roberts: JJ

Cox ran into the bigger pocket pair of Roberts, but the 5AK flop gave Cox extra outs in the form of a flush draw. However, the 2 on the turn and 4 on the river brought no help for Cox, and the pocket jacks of Roberts was still best, eliminating Cox.

Brandon Butler

Action folded to Brandon Butler in the hijack and moved all in for his stack of 65,000. It then folded to the big blind Kevin Shipp, who called for his stack of 58,000, putting himself at risk.

Kevin Shipp: A8 All in
