Green Fades Clubs to Double Up

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Action was picked up on the turn with roughly 25,000 in the pot, and the board showing 6K10A. Ron Green was all in for 53,000, and Chris Moore putting him at risk.

Ron Green: QJ All in
Chris Moore: Q8

Green turned the nuts, but was not out of the water yet, as he would have to fade Moore's flush draw. But the 5 on the river was safe, giving him the pot with his Broadway straight, securing the double up.

Moore Adds to His Stack

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Action was picked up on the flop in five way-pot, with 59,000 in the pot.

The flop came 494 and Benjamin Teston in the small blind bet out 15,000, which got under the gun to fold, before Chris Moore early position called. The player in the hijack and Andrew Bakota on the button both got out of the way as well.

Both players checked to show down after the Q on the turn, and 2 on the river. Teston turned over 88 but Moore had the winner with 98 to take the pot with his pair of nines.

Bryant Flops a Set to Score a Knockout

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

A player in early position raised to 3,000, and the player in middle position three-bet all in for his stack of 20,500. Eric Bryant in the hijack made the call, and once the rest of the table folded, it was the two players heads up, with the middle position player at risk.

Middle Position: AK All in
Eric Bryant: 99

It was flip, but after 429 flop, the all in player would need running cards to stay in the tournament. But the 7 on the turn left him drawing dead, and the irrelevant 5 on the river completed the board, to give the pot to Bryant.

Hinkle Gets a Fold

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Blair Hinkle opened the action with a raise to 3,000 from the hijack, which was called by the small blind Jeff Copeland, and the big blind.

After the 6KJ flop, it was checked to Hinkle, who bet out 5,000. Copeland made the call, and the big blind folded.

Both players checked the 6 on the turn, which brought the Q on the river. Copeland again checked, and Hinkle fired out 6,000. Copeland thought it over for a moment, before tossing his cards in the muck to give the pot to Hinkle.

Glubok Spikes to The River

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Action was picked up with a player all in for 17,500, and Brian Glubok putting him at risk.

All in Player: 99 All in
Brian Glubok: A9

Glubok would need to find an ace, and when the board ran out 1083JA he did just that as he found an ace of the river, to take the pot and eliminate his opponent.

The players have been sent on another 15-minute break. This will be the last chance for players to register or renter, as late registration closes at the end of this break.

Bakota Gets a Big Double with Aces

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Action folded to Matt Nilges who limped in from the hijack, before Andrew Bakota in the cutoff raised to 3,700. He was called by Wilburn Hutcheson on the button, the small blind, and Nilges.

After the J59 flop, it was checked to Bakota who bet out 9,200. Hutcheson then raised to 33,000, which got the small blind and Nilges to fold. Bakota then three-bet all in for his stack of 78,900, which Hutcheson quickly called.

Andrew Bakota: AA All in
Wilburn Hutcheson: KJ

Hutcheson flopped top pair, but would still need to improve past the pocket aces of Bakota. The 5 on the turn took away three outs from Hutcheson, and the 4 was no help, as the pocket aces of Bakota were still best, giving him the big double up.
