Berenji and Pupo Clash
Giovanni Pupo raised to 2,000 from early position and was called on the button by Ali Berenji. Denis Lee defended his big blind to create a three-handed pot.

Pupo continued the pressure on the 4♦ turn with a bet of 5,000. Berenji smooth called to send them to a river.
The 6♦ river saw fireworks as Pupo began the final street with a check. Berenji put out a bet of 3,000, which Pupo responded to with a check-raise to 10,000. Berenji paused before he staged a bet of 23,000 and pushed it toward the middle.
Berenji's raise sent Pupo into the tank as he vocalized the situation he found himself in. Pupo eventually chose to call and was shown the bad news as Berenji revealed 4♣3♣ for a full house. Pupo mucked his hand as Berenji dragged in a consequential pot.
