Sit Back Down Sir

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Rudy Robledo raised to 17,000 from the hijack to open the action. Stephen Hesse responded with a re-raise to 75,000 from the small blind. Robledo used a time bank before he ultimately decided to jam for 163,000 total. Hesse made the call to put Robledo at risk.

Robledo had the lead, but the flop changed that in a hurry as it came down AQ3 to give Hesse a pair of queens and the lead.

The 6 turn peeled off and Robledo began to stand up and threw his final time banks towards the middle in resignation, but the river was just the card Robledo needed as he spiked the 9 to hit a set and stay alive in the tournamnet.

"Sit back down, sir," said Michael Loncar in jest from the next seat over as Robledo retook his seat and dragged in the chips.
