The first open event of The RunGood Poker Series 2025 season materialized into Event #2: $250 Series Opener which drew out a total of 143 entrants. A prize pool of $28,600 was built to be divided up between the final 18 players.

At the day's end it was Casey Hindman who took the outright victory for his first ever RGPS victory. Hindman's history with the tour dates back quite a ways as he final tabled the main event in Joplin 11 years ago. His long history with the tour paid off today as he now wears the ring of the first open event of the 2025 year.

The RGPS in Tulsa kicked off with Event #1: $250 Seniors drawing out a 223 entrants over the eight levels of late registration. This generated a prize pool of $44,600 that only 28 of the 50+ players could get a piece of.

At the end of the day it was Oklahoma tournament regular Mashir Khan taking his first ring, for $8,000 after a four-way deal was struck. This brings Khan's lifetime total for tournament cashes up to $240,821 and he looks to parlay some of his winnings into the Main Event.
