Aces Up for Patel
Level 4
: Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
Jeremiah Smith raised to 1,200 in the hijack and Dipnish Patel defended in the big blind.
The flop came 8♦10♦7♥ and Patel check-called a bet of 2,000 from Smith, bringing the 2♣ turn.
Patel check-called again, this time for 5,000, and the A♠ fell on the river. Patel checked once more and Smith tossed out another bet of 5,000.
Patel quickly called and tabled the winner with A♣10♣ for two pair, besting the 10♠7♠ of Smith, who had an inferior two pair.
