Nguyen Puts Heddin in the Blender
Level 6
: Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Action went six-ways to a flop of 10♠3♣J♠, where it checked to Nick Nguyen in middle position, who was the initial preflop raiser. He bet 6,500 and received three calls before the 5♦ landed on the turn.
It checked to Nguyen again, who bet 24,000, and only Austin Heddin in the cutoff called to see the 3♠ river, which completed any flush draws.
Nguyen showed no signs of slowing down, and bet enough to put Heddin all in, who had close to 70,000 back. Clearly faced with a tough decision, Heddin took some time to think before eventually tossing his cards into the muck.
