Schuessler Gets Paid
Level 3
: Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Action went seven-ways to a monotone flop of J♦6♦5♦ where it checked to the under-the-gun Lisa Schuessler, who bet 3,000. Only Konda Reddy Lekkala in middle position and Scotty Cox on the button called.
The turn landed the 8♥ and Schuessler continued with a bet of 6,000. Only Cox continued to see the 4♠ river.
Schuessler bet 7,000, prompting Cox to go into the tank. "I guess you flopped a flush, right?" asked Cox before eventually flicking in the call.
His assessment proved to be correct, as Schuessler turned over 10♦8♦. Cox mentioned that he had flopped a set.
