Drewery Flips Out Nguyen
Level 8
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Nick Nguyen got it all in preflop for about 28,000 on the button against the under-the-gun Jeremy Drewery, who had the covering stack.
Nick Nguyen: A♠K♥
Jeremy Drewery: 5♣5♦
Drewery pulled ahead further on the 10♣5♠9♣ flop, improving to a set of fives. Nguyen picked up a gutshot on the J♣ turn, but couldn't get there as the 3♦ rolled off on the river.
Nguyen elected to rebuy for a fresh 40,000 starting stack.
