Samples Finds an Early Double Up
Level 15
: Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Action folded around to Lynn Samples in the small blind, who moved all in for 122,000 to put herself at risk. Sirivattana Souryavong quickly called in the big blind.
Lynn Samples: 7♠7♦
Sirivattana Souryavong: K♥K♦
Samples picked up an open-ended straight flush draw on the 9♠6♠8♠ flop, which was not what Souryavong wanted to see.
The 9♦ turn was a blank, but Samples got there on the 10♦ river to remain in contention.
Nearby, Jeremy Drewery was seen pulling the first bounty of the day, good for $2,500.
