With late registration now closed, the floor has announced that of the 82 entries for Day 1a, as many as 10 players will bag up and advance to Day 2 on Sunday.
Currently, 35 players remain in contention.
Brian Oellig was in the big blind and ended up getting it all in preflop with the covering stack against the player in middle position who had about 50,000 to start the hand.

Oellig's opponent picked up a gutshot on the 10♣5♦J♦ flop, but the 2♥ turn and 3♣ river were safe cards for Oellig, who now sits with one of the biggest stacks in the room.

Michael McBarron raised to 2,500 in middle position and was called by Ryan Kephart on the button and Jeremiah Smith in the big blind.
The dealer put out a monotone flop of A♠K♠Q♠ and it checked through to the 10♠ turn, giving the possibility of a Royal Flush.
Smith led out for 5,000 and both of his opponents folded before the pot was pushed his way.
"Oh, Royal Flush!" joked Smith as he showed 10♣7♦ for a pair of tens.
Mark Fisher raised to 3,500 on the button and Christopher Campbell three-bet jammed for 15,800 in the big blind to put himself at risk. Fisher flicked in the call.

Campbell pulled ahead further on the K♦7♦A♠ flop, improving to top two pair. Fisher found a glimmer of hope on the 4♣ turn, but the 9♦ river was safe for Campbell.

Colton Cino raised to 2,400 in the cutoff and Frank Di flatted in the small blind.
The flop came 4♣J♠3♣ and Di check-called a bet of 2,400 from Cino bringing the A♦ turn, where both players checked.
On the 3♥ river, Di led out with a bet of 4,800 and Cino made the call. Di tabled the winner with A♥Q♣ for two pair, aces and treys.
Benjamin Vanklink raised to 2,500 in early position and was called by Ethan Wilson in the small blind and Paul Atwood in the big blind.
All three players checked on the 10♦2♦2♠ flop and Wilson led out for 5,000 on the 6♥ turn. Only Atwood called to see the 8♥ river.
Wilson bet 11,000 and Atwood made the call. Wilson turned over K♥10♠ for two pair, tens and deuces, prompting Atwood to muck his cards.
