Garcia found some help on the 2♥9♠Q♥ flop, pairing his nine, but the board ran out Q♠, 5♠, ending his tournament run.
Wallace exited on the stone bubble yesterday during the Day 1b flight and is on the right track to find a bag for Sunday here in Day 1d.

Burks remained in the lead on the Q♦7♥8♦ flop, but Garcia hit a running straight on the 6♠ turn and 5♠ river to stay alive.

Action went heads up to a flop of 5♦6♣6♦ where Brett Sutton in the small blind got his last 15,000 or so in against Kyle Birdwell in early position.

The board ran out Q♠, Q♦, and Birdwell scooped the pot with two pair, queens and nines.
Tom Andersen limped in the hijack and Nick Nguyen raised to 8,000 in the cutoff, which Andersen called.
The duo saw a flop of 5♠8♠4♣ and Andersen check-called a bet of 11,000 from Nguyen.
He check-called again on the 9♦ turn, this time for 15,000, and the J♥ fell on the river.
Both players checked and Nguyen tabled 9♥6♥ for a pair of nines, besting the A♦8♣ of Andersen, who had a pair of eights.

Kyle Birdwell raised to 4,000 in the cutoff, Thomas Courtney three-bet to 13,000 in the small blind, and Ted Bodnar cold four-bet jammed in the big blind for about 65,000. Birdwell folded and Courtney called off his remaining 29,000 to put himself at risk.

Bodnar's pair of eights were still in the lead on the Q♣2♠3♥ flop. He was in great shape to add to his stack after the 2♦ turn, but Courtney paired his king on the K♦ river to double up.
Action went heads-up to a flop of 9♠3♣J♣ in a hand between the under-the-gun Johnnie Place and Ted Bodnar in the cutoff.
With 29,000 in the middle, Place check-called a bet of 4,000, bringing the A♠ turn, where he check-called again, this time for 15,000.
The 4♣ landed on the river, completing any flush draws, and Place checked for a third time. Bodnar elected to check back with J♥J♦, and he was glad he did when Place turned over K♣Q♣ for the flush.
