With Bill Ioannides all in from the big blind, Simon Webster raised to 850,000 from under the gun. Jeremy Marrero called on the button, and David Carter three-bet to 5,500,000 in the small blind.
Ioannides applauded the move from Carter, and Webster and Marrero both folded.

Adam Hahn raised to 1,000,000 in early position with K♣J♣, and Simon Webster defended his big blind holding Q♥9♠.
The dealer fanned out the Q♣10♣9♣ flop, and Webster checked his two pair. Hanh checked back with a straight flush, and Webster bet 1,000,000 on the 5♦ turn.
Hahn opted to call, and Webster checked the 2♦ river. Hahn fired 2,000,000, earning a call from Webster who quickly saw the bad news.
Simon Webster opened to 1,075,000 from under the gun, and Julian Desmond moved all in from the hijack for 3,725,000. Webster made the call, leaving Desmond at risk.
