Lee Shows Top Pair
Level 8
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Alexandra Loveless opened to 2,500 from under the gun, and Gionna Lee called in middle position. Benjamin Vanklink came along as next to act, with Billy Taylor calling in the cutoff. Barbara Sargent defended her big blind, and checked the 9♠Q♦2♦ flop.
Loveless checked behind, and Lee tossed out a bet of 5,000. Action folded back around to Loveless, who made the call. The 3♠ turn produced another check from Loveless, who called again when Lee bet 10,000.
The 4♥ river saw both players check it down, and Lee showed Q♥J♦ for top pair. Loveless tapped the before before mucking her hand, and Lee picked up the pot.
