Olivas and Vu Survive
Level 14
: Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
With Thomas Olivas all in for his last 6,000 in the big blind, Kris Burchfield raised to 12,000 in early position. Nikola Mircetic called before Son Vu moved all in from the cutoff.
After taking some time, Burchfield four-bet to 130,000, and Mircetic got out of the way.
Thomas Olivas: K♣8♣
Son Vu: 10♠10♦
Kris Burchfield: A♦J♠
Olivas found plenty of help on the Q♥8♥K♥3♦5♦ runout, making two pair to triple his short stack. Vu's pocket pair held to take the side pot, winning the flip against Burchfield.
