Carrigan Shows Down a Winner
Level 6
: Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Six-way action to the 2♦8♠6♥ flop was trimmed in half, as Justin Adkins fired 1,000 in middle position and Cedric Carrigan raised to 3,000 in the hijack. John Blansett called, as did Adkins and the trio checked the 10♠ turn.
Another round of checks followed the 5♦ river, with Carrigan showing down A♣8♣ for a pair of eights. That was good enough to claim the pot, as Adkins and Blansett mucked.
