RunGood Golden Expedition Houston Main Event is Ready to Begin!
The RunGood Poker Series is set to make its debut at the Champions Club Texas, nestled in the heart of Houston, Texas. The 2026 RunGood Golden Expedition Houston series will award 11 RGPS rings over the course of the week, none more important than the $600 Main Event, which gets underway this evening.
A total of six starting flights are laid out on the schedule over the next few days, culminating with Day 2 and the final table taking place on Sunday, October 18th. A sizeable $250,000 guaranteed prizepool is up for grabs for this event alone, which will be sure to attract some of the best players in the Lone Star State.
Day 1a is where it will all get started, kicking off at 6 p.m. local time inside the poker room at Champions Club Texas. Players will sit down to a stack of 60,000 chips with the blinds starting at 100/200 and a 200 big blind ante. The levels will be 30 minutes in length with a 15-minute break at the end of every four levels.
Late registration will remain open until the start of Level 13 for each of the starting flights. There will be unlimited re-entries permitted while the registration period is still open and players will have the option of playing in all Day 1 flights. Should a player bag chips in multiple flights, only their largest stack will advance to Day 2 and their remaining stacks will be paid out with a min-cash.
The top 10% of the field will advance to Day 2 on Sunday, and only those who advance to Day 2 will be considered in the money.
