Sivorakoune the Last to Fall on Day 1b
Level 18
: Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Matthew Bray raised to 40,000 from under the gun and Tony Sivorakoune pushed all in for his last 140,000 chips on the button. The blinds folded and Bray quickly called it off.
Tony Sivorakoune: A♦9♦
Matthew Bray: A♥K♣
The flop of J♥J♣5♣ provided some chop outs for Sivorakoune. However, the 2♠ and K♥ runout was not going to cut it as he became the last elimination of Day 1b. The remaining nine players will now bag up their chips and return for Day 2 on Sunday.
Stay tuned for a full list of chip counts and a recap of the day's action.
