Bertelsman Doubles Through Procell
Level 9
: Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Jon Bertelsman opened to 4,000 in middle position and picked up three callers along the way. The flop came 9♥7♣5♦ and Bertelsman continued with a bet of 10,000. Jason Procell announced all in on the button and Bertelsman called off his stack of 47,000.
Jon Bertelsman: J♠J♥
Jason Procell: Q♥9♦
Procell flopped top pair but he was in trouble against Bertelsman's overpair. The 4♣ and 6♥ runout changed nothing and Bertelsman earned himself a double-up.
