The field has grown to 70 entries through the first eight levels. Just 45 players remain and they are taking another 15-minute break.
Mark Rabel opened to 4,000 from under the gun and picked up two callers. James Cazin was in the big blind and in a shoving mood as he risked his stack of 27,000. Rabel asked for a count and just called, forcing the other players to fold.
James Cazin: K♥6♣
Mark Rabel: 9♥9♣
"We're live. Kinda," Cazin said with one over card. It came right away on the K♠J♥6♠ flop to give Cazin two pair. The 2♠ and 10♠ runout was no worry as neither player had a spade in their hand. Cazin secured the double up and said he was going to return to playing "normal" poker now.
James Holland raised to 3,500 in the hijack and Shawn Behnk just called in the cutoff. Linh Dang shipped all in for 13,600 on the button and the action folded back to Behnk who quickly called.
Linh Dang: K♥3♥
Shawn Behnk: J♥J♣
The flop came A♦Q♠5♠ and Dang had one foot out the door already. The 10♣ on the turn narrowed her outs but the J♦ on the river completed her straight to double through Behnk.

Eugene Baker raised it up from under the gun and the button shipped all in for 27,800. The blinds folded and Baker was happy to make the call and get the chips in the middle.
Opponent: K♥J♠
Eugene Baker: A♥K♠
The flop came A♠A♦10♠ and Baker took a commanding lead with trip aces, despite his opponent picking up a straight draw. The 3♣ and 2♦ runout changed nothing and Baker sent his opponent to the rail.
