It has already been a busy week at The Barrel Social Club, as the RunGood Poker Series makes its maiden visit to Kentucky for the latest stop in the 2026 RGPS Golden Expedition season.
The highlight of the series kicks off today at 11:15 a.m. local time, with the first flight of the $800 Main Event. Players will have six starting flights to choose from over the next three days, helping build towards the $250,000 guaranteed prize pool. Action continues tonight with Day 1b at 4:15 p.m. providing the second chance to earn a spot in the money.
This event marks the third stop of the Golden Expedition season, and the first of two visits to Kentucky this fall. Two weeks ago, Adam Hahn claimed victory in the Dallas Main Event while Jack Hays earned the Main Event win in Southern Indiana.

All six starting flights will follow the same structure, as players will sit down with 30,000 chips and blinds beginning at 100/200 with a 200 big blind ante. The first eight levels of each day will be 30 minutes in length, before expanding to 40 minutes from Level 9 onwards.
The event features unlimited reentry, and late registration in each flight remains open through the start of Level 9. From there, action will continue until the top 12.5% of each field is reached, where survivors will bag up in the money for Day 2.
Players can qualify in the money more than once, but only their higher stack will carry forward for the final day. Any additional stacks will be removed from play, earning the lowest Day 2 payout for multiple bags.
