Shapiro Takes from Speed

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Joshua Shapiro opened to 1,100 from under the gun, and Gregory Speed called in the small blind. Carl Masters defended his big blind, and the Q56 flop hit the felt.

Speed and Masters checked, with Shapiro continuing for 1,500. Speed called, while Masters got out of the way.

The 9 turn produced checks from both players, and Speed checked again on the J river. Shapiro fired 3,000 into the middle, good enough to claim the pot as Speed folded.

Mingus called to the 6 turn, and Lerner fired again for 2,000. The call was made, and Lerner checked the J river. Mingus bet 7,000, and Lerner quickly made the call.

Mingus tabled 109, while Lerner showed QQ to take down the pot.
