Joel Brink shoved on the button, and David Bobkovich called and put himself at risk from the big blind as his tournament fate hung in the balance.
David Bobkovich: A♣9♠
Joel Brink: K♣9♣
The flop would be huge for Brink when it came 10♣8♣6♣, immediately giving him a flush. Bobkovich was down and out for the count, however, as he held the ace of clubs for a flush draw.
The 4♦ turn and the 8♥ river were of no help to Bobkovich as he fell in 10th place.
A three-way all-in broke out between Jon Hoellein from under the gun for 420,000, Jefferson Wilson from the cutoff for 780,000, and Michael Barlow from the small blind for 785,000. Hoellein and Wilson were at risk, as Barlow had Wilson covered by a smidge.
Jon Hoellein
Jon Hoellein: A♦Q♦
Jefferson Wilson: 10♠10♥
Michael Barlow: K♣K♠
Barlow had the best of it when they went to a runout.
The runout did not provide much drama as his kings held on the 7♥4♠7♣6♣J♣.
Hoellein and Wilson both earned $3,355 for their respective finishes.
Randy Hockey opened to 100,000 from under the gun. Patrick Beatrez went all-in for 625,000 from the small blind. Hockey called and put his tournament at risk for 550,000.
Randy Hockey: 10♣10♠
Patrick Beatrez: Q♠Q♥
Beatrez would hit a set of queens on the 6♥Q♦K♦ flop to put Hockey further behind.
The 7♠ turn and the K♠ river were the final cards Hockey would see as he exited in 13th place.
