Marconi Bests James

This pot had built to 10,000 on a flop that read K♣6♦10♥ when this was picked up.

Dionta James led for 4,200 from the big blind. Rick Marconi called from early position.

The 7♦ turn resulted in a bet of 14,000 from James. Marconi was not deterred and made the call.

James shoved on the 9♦ river. Marconi quickly called and put himself at risk for 14,700.

James showed A♥Q♠ for ace-high. Marconi had it the whole way when he tabled A♦K♦ for a pair of kings that turned into a flush on the river.
