Rigby Takes Chunk from Hughes

Nicholas Rigby opened to 6,000 from the cutoff. Daniel Hughes called from the small blind, and Ruslan Zakharchuk defended his big blind to create a three-handed pot preflop.

The 2♠Q♣4♣ flop was checked by all three players, bringing the J♣ turn. Both blinds checked again before Rigby fired 10,000. Hughes called, but Zakharchuk folded.

Hughes checked the K♣ river. Rigby bet 15,000, but Hughes countered with a check-raise to 40,000. Rigby tossed in a call.

Hughes showed J♦8♦ for a pair of jacks, but it was no good as Rigby tabled 9♣8♣ for a flush.
