Ezekiel Digiamberdine opened to 2,600 from middle position before Michael Valore joined with a call from the cutoff. Walter Fuge defended his big blind to create a three-handed pot.
The 2♠2♣A♠ flop was checked by Fuge. Digiamberdine continued for 6,500 and was called only by Valore.
Digiamberdine shipped it on the 6♣ turn. Valore quickly called, and the cards were on their backs with Valore at risk for approximately 28,000.
Michael Valore: A♥J♦
Ezekiel Digiamberdine: A♣8♣
Valore was ahead with his jack kicker, but Digiamberdine still posed a threat with his flush draw going into the river.
The flush draw would be crucial as the 10♣ river peeled to upgrade Digiamberdine to a flush and sink Valore.
