button in SafariChuang Continues Dominant Day 1b
Tsung-Yi Chuang has had a strong performance thus far on Day 1b, and this hand has only continued to add to his pile of chips.
The hand was picked up with approximately 40,000 in the middle on a board that read 9♥10♣Q♦4♥.
Steven La Scola checked his option from the big blind before Tsung-Yi Chuang bet 15,000 from the hijack. Ruslan Zakharchuk called on the button, but La Scola opted to open the bidding back up with a check-raise to 45,000. Chuang called, but La Scola got out of there with a fold.
The K♥ river was a spicy street as La Scola led for 50,000. Chuang asked to see La Scola's stack before he weighed his options. Chuang chose to go all-in and put La Scola to a decision for his remaining 95,000.
La Scola opted to fold as Chuang took down the pot and added to his Day 1b chip lead.
