Carbone Doubles Through Bell
Level 19
: Blinds 10,000/20,000, 10,000 ante
Antonio Ndoja opened to 50,000 from the cutoff. Anthony Carbone shoved for 204,000 total on the button. Ronald Bell woke up with a hand in the small blind and opted to go all-in for more. Ndoja folded as Carbone was at risk and went to showdown against Bell.
Anthony Carbone: A♣Q♥
Ronald Bell: 9♦9♠
It was a classic race between the pocket pair and the overcards, with Carbone rooting for the overcards.
The flop gave Carbone some additional outs when it came K♠7♠J♥, but Bell was still in the lead.
Bell stayed ahead on the 2♠ turn.
Carbone would get there when the Q♦ appeared on the river, as he doubled up.
